Season Calendar: For the Fall 2025 season, our game dates will be 9/6, 9/7, 9/13, 9/14, 9/20, 9/21, 9/27, 9/28, 10/4, 10/5, 10/25 & 10/26. U4 will play mostly on Saturdays, but will also have one Sunday game for each team scheduled.  9/28 will be Silent Sunday for U8 and up divisions.  Practices for U8 & up divisions will begin in mid August.  U4/U6 teams do not practice during the week and will first meet on opening day (9/6).  Last game day for U4 will be 10/4. Last game day for U6 will be 10/5.  All U4/U6 players will receive a participation trophy.  There will not be any games scheduled over Fall Break, but U8 - U15 divisions will have a season ending single elimination tournament on 10/25 - 10/26.

Team Formation & Special Requests: In an effort to increase and maintain competitive balance in our U8 & up divisions, we will be limiting special requests to transportation requests only.  A player may make a transportation request with only one other player.  In turn, that requested player must make a reciprocal request for the same player in order for it to be granted.  You may make a transportation request for a coaches' player, but not a coach.  Siblings playing on the same team are limited to 1 transportation request per household.  Each team will have a head coach and up to one assigned assistant. U4 & U6 players may make coach requests, but they are not guaranteed.  For U15M & U19M divisions, team formation will be based, in large part, according to what school a player attends. We will still do our best to balance by age and experience and also honor reciprocal transportation requests wherever possible.

Registering to Coach: DCYSA is always looking for volunteers to coach (both assistant and head coach).  The more head coaches we have, the more players can play!  If you head coach a team, you may receive a rebate equal to half your family's registration fees.  To volunteer to coach, please complete your on-line coach registration here on our website.  After completing the registration, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete your background check authorization and KYSA required safety training.  In order to be assigned a team, you must pass your background check by 8/1. Once you are assigned a team, you will have until the end of the season (10/26) to complete the required online safety training in order to qualify for the 50% rebate.  To receive the rebate, you must also complete the season in good standing with DCYSA.

Creating an account: If you participated with DCYSA in the past, there is a good chance your data is in our system.  Before registering, if you are unsure of your account, please create an account by clicking on the "Login" button above, and then clicking on "forgot my password" and follow the instructions from there.  If possible, be sure to use the same e-mail address you used in prior seasons in order to ensure your data loads correctly. Once you create your account, please click on the "Register" button on the top right corner of the page in order to register your soccer player and/or volunteer to coach.

Financial Aid:  If you wish to apply for financial aid (50% off registration fees).  Please email dcysa.information@gmail.com to request an application.  Any application for financial aid must be returned to DCYSA by 7/14/25 for approval.  Approval for aid is also subject to having spots available, so please return your completed application as soon as possible.

Playing up an age division:  If you would like your soccer player to play up an age division, please click the box on the registration form indicating so.  Please note that your soccer player must be born within one calendar year of the lower age cut-off for the division you want to move up to.  For example, if you are a U6 age player but want to play in U8, you must be born on or before 12/31/2020 as that is within one year of the U8 cut-off of 12/31/2019.  DCYSA will try to accommodate all play-up requests, but does not guarantee approval to play up a division. DCYSA does not allow players to play down an age division.
